About the role
We are currently looking for a Litigation Lawyer to join a government agency in Stockholm. In this role, you will focus on litigation and representing the organization in legal matters. You will contribute to strengthening legal quality by managing and driving processes within administrative law issues. The role is operational and suits you if you thrive in a process-oriented function with clear personal responsibility.

We are looking for someone with experience in litigation law, including administrative litigation law, and experience acting as counsel for a public entity in proceedings. You also have experience in general administrative law and social insurance law (both national and EU law).

Key responsibilities in this role may include:

  • Handling litigation in administrative law within the organization's areas of responsibility
  • Managing and driving legal cases related to social insurance and adjacent areas
  • Working on legal issues arising within administrative law and social insurance law
  • Handling cases regarding public access to information, confidentiality, and data protection
  • Contributing to ensuring high legal quality within the organization
  • Working both independently and in close collaboration with colleagues
  • Communicating clearly and structured within the organization
  • Working in case management systems as part of daily operations

Assignment period and scope
The position is a full-time consultancy assignment, with a preliminary start date of 2026-08-24, expected to last approximately three (3) months, with the possibility of extension.

Requirements for the role:

  • Master of Laws degree (Jur.kand or equivalent)
  • At least three (3) years of professional experience as a lawyer
  • Very good knowledge of the Office package and corresponding software
  • Fluent communication skills in Swedish and English, both verbal and written
