About the Role

Do you want to make a real difference to help Sweden succeed in the energy transition and meet climate goals?

Join the project controlling team and take on an important role in the accounting, closing, and economic follow-up of our infrastructure investments. The role is broad and varied, and you will work in a business where precision, structure, and collaboration are crucial. You are responsible for ensuring correct ongoing accounting of our infrastructure investments and contribute to monthly, quarterly, and annual closing, as well as supporting recurring investment follow-ups.

Together with colleagues and other parts of the business, you ensure that financial reporting maintains high quality. The role offers opportunities to influence and develop the job content based on your competence, interests, and the business's needs. The tasks are varied, involving both routine standard questions and investigative issues.

Examples of duties:

  • Responsible for ongoing accounting and reconciliations of selected balance sheet accounts
  • Participate in monthly, quarterly, and annual closing
  • Support the business with ongoing financial questions
  • Ensure that accounting follows current regulations and internal guidelines
  • Prepare reports, analyses, and materials for audit and internal follow-up
  • Contribute to the development and efficiency of processes within accounting and closing
  • Contribute your accounting expertise and act as an advisory party in meetings and forums within the organization.
  • Prepare materials used in business planning
  • Structure and handle issues in the infrastructure register

Requirements

To thrive in this role, we see that you appreciate working with both recurring routine tasks and ad-hoc investigative issues. To be successful in this role, we see that you are a precise, responsible, and analytical person who is motivated by creating structure and quality in financial processes. You enjoy working independently but also value collaboration with colleagues and other functions in the business.

You have a structured working method, a good understanding of accounting principles, and the ability to handle deadlines, especially in connection with closing work. You are quality-conscious, have good communication skills, and can explain financial connections clearly to different types of recipients.

We also appreciate that you contribute improvements to routines, working methods, and system support within the accounting area, and provide support to the business and other controlling colleagues in accounting matters.

We would like you to have:

  • Education in economics, accounting, or experience of similar tasks
  • At least 5 years of experience in ongoing accounting, closing, or similar tasks in a capital-intensive business.
  • Good knowledge of accounting principles and closing work
  • Skills in Excel and preferably experience with the economic system SAP
  • Experience in developing and streamlining accounting routines is meritorious
  • Fluent Swedish in both speech and writing
  • If you also have experience with BI tools such as Power BI, this is meritorious but not a requirement
