You will play a key role in driving our data-driven transition and developing smarter methodologies to streamline and automate manual processes. This is a fantastic opportunity to be at the core of our business, where you will play a key role in assessing and managing credit risks while contributing to our sustainable growth.

Key responsibilities:

• Develop and implement credit risk policies and procedures in accordance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
• Prepare detailed credit reports and recommendations for internal decision-making.
• Monitor existing credit portfolios to identify potential risks and suggest proactive solutions.
• Collaborate with Account Managers and other stakeholders to develop tailored factoring and merchant payment solutions.
• Stay informed about industry trends, regulatory changes, and market conditions that may impact credit risk.
• Ensure compliance with the bank’s risk policies and regulatory guidelines.
• Monitor the performance of Credit Risk strategies on an ongoing basis. Provide regular commentary and insights to stakeholders on performance against expectations, trends and emerging risk/opportunities.
• Continuously work with other stakeholders to develop more efficient ways to take credit-related decisions.

On a personal level

You are detail-oriented and able to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously without losing sight of deadlines. Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively, you thrive in a fast-paced environment.

We believe you bring:

• Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Statistics, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Credit Analyst, preferably within the banking industry (5-8 years preferred).
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
• Familiarity with credit risk assessment frameworks and regulatory requirements.
• Previous experience working with various types of decision-making systems or credit preparation systems, software development, or equivalent.
• Strong technical understanding, likely from previous hands-on technical work as well as leading projects or organizations in technology development.
• Experience of SAS/SQL/JavaScript or a comparable programming language.
