Do you have experience with Oracle Fusion and want to be part of a comprehensive change initiative in a large organization? On behalf of our client, Vindex is looking for an accountant with strong system understanding and implementation experience within Oracle Fusion. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work in a complex and international environment where you become a key part of an ongoing transformation of the finance function and processes.

This is a consultancy assignment via Vindex, starting immediately or as agreed. The assignment initially runs for six months with good opportunities for extension.

About the Role

In this role, you will be a central part of a comprehensive transformation project focused on the development and implementation of Oracle Fusion. You will work closely with both the business and IT to ensure that business needs are translated into efficient and well-functioning solutions. With your experience in finance and systems, you will contribute to developing processes, specifying functionality, and ensuring a successful implementation.

The assignment offers a varied daily routine where you will work with both operational and strategic issues related to financial processes and system development. You will become a key part of the change initiative and have the opportunity to influence how the future finance function is shaped in a complex and development-oriented organization.

Location: Stockholm, hybrid

Main Responsibilities

• Work as a functional specialist within Oracle Fusion
• Gather, analyze, and document business requirements
• Design and configure solutions in Oracle Fusion based on business needs
• Act as a bridge between finance, business, and IT
• Participate in implementation, testing, and quality assurance of new processes and functions
• Support change initiatives related to financial systems and financial processes
• Contribute to the development and efficiency improvement of processes within Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Participate in the work of migrating and developing accounting and bookkeeping processes in Oracle Fusion
• Ensure that solutions meet business requirements and internal guidelines
• Participate in workshops, training, and knowledge transfer to the business

Qualifications

• Academic education in accounting, finance, or another relevant field
• Several years of experience working in finance and financial processes
• Experience working in Oracle Fusion, either as a functional consultant or through a central role in the implementation, development, or management of the system
• Previous experience with implementation and functional design in Oracle Fusion
• Good understanding of financial processes, especially within AP/AR and accounting
• Experience with requirements specification, process mapping, and configuration in complex system environments
• Experience working at the intersection of business and IT
• Very good knowledge of English, both spoken and written
