A regular job. But with more wiiie! Since 1923, we have brought people together to meet, laugh, and enjoy each other's company. Soon, it will be your turn to join us. At Liseberg, you don't just work in an amusement park – you work in a whole world of experiences: rides, music, great food, hotels, shows, gardens, camping – and soon, an entirely new water world. We are open year-round, with different seasons and paces – but the joy is always there. And it is you who helps create that joy. Here, the work is both big and small, everyday and exciting, full of speed but with room for reflection. A regular job. But with more wiiie!

What we offer you (and a bit more!)

  • Everyday life and wiiie. Here, the job is both fun and real. You make a difference – whether you work in the thick of the action or behind the scenes.

  • Colleagues and neighborhood feeling. Here you find experts on everything from spinning rides to smart Excel documents. Different jobs, different corners of the same warm neighborhood.

  • Value before profit. We are owned by the city. What you do contributes to something bigger than ourselves.

  • Courage and method. We try new things – but always with sustainability in focus. Leading the way requires both ideas and reflection. Here, you find both.

We are looking for you who, alongside studies or other main employment, want to strengthen our reception team during our most intensive guest periods. Do you have the possibility to work weekends, and do you have previous experience as a receptionist and a passion for service? Then you might be exactly who we are looking for!

You are part of the team
As a receptionist, you are an important part of the team and contribute to creating a welcoming experience in the reception, lobby, hotel shop, baggage handling, and conference department. You guide guests with warmth and local knowledge, and collaborate closely with the Front Office Manager, Team Leader, and supervisor to maintain our high guest satisfaction. You also support issues related to fire and safety work. You take care of all the hotel's guests – from those visiting us for a conference to those who want to visit Liseberg Park and have extra fun with us at the hotel.

This is what an ordinary day looks like
You meet guests, answer questions, handle check-ins and check-outs, keep track of what is happening both in the house and in Gothenburg – and ensure that every guest feels seen and welcome. Additionally, you help create a smooth experience for our conference guests, from preparations to service during meetings.

Today's to-do: create magic, by:

  • Delivering world-class service

  • Handling incoming calls and emails with structure and a service mindset

  • Handling guests' requests in the best way and actively contributing to exceeding their expectations, with the goal of creating an experience that makes them want to return to Liseberg

  • Having in-depth knowledge of the hotel and its procedures in emergency situations, as well as being able to assist with fire alarms and other incidents

  • Ensuring that the reception is always presentable and pleasant

  • Coordinating meeting rooms, bookings, and simpler administration

Do we fit together?
At our place, team spirit is everything. You put guests and colleagues first and share our values: caring, creativity, safety, quality, and joy. You like to take responsibility, are solution-oriented, and thrive in an environment where no day is like the other.

We are looking for you who...

  • ...have experience working in hotel reception and conferences

  • ...have good communication skills in Swedish and English, both spoken and written

  • ...are used to working in teams and see the charm in belonging to a team where everyone wants to pull in the same direction

  • ...always put the guest's experience first

It is an advantage if you have education in Hotel Management and experience with the Mews system, as well as basic knowledge of Microsoft Office.

Good to know

  • Number of open positions: 2

  • Employment type: Permanent, 10% and 20%

  • Working hours are scheduled according to the needs of the business and opening hours, especially weekends

  • The positions are covered by the HRF collective agreement

  • Start date: As agreed
