About the job

Home care is a business that requires good planning and quick adaptability. This is where you play an important role as a Unit Coordinator.

Lidköping Municipality has introduced digital planning for our home care units over the last two years. The purpose of digital planning is to ensure the quality of intervention planning and free up time for staff working directly with users.

Responsibilities

As a Unit Coordinator within home care, you actively contribute to the development of the unit, ensuring it follows frameworks and meets set goals.

In the role of Unit Coordinator in home care, you will be responsible, among other things, for ensuring that interventions for users are planned according to decisions. You will coordinate and plan the daily operations. You are the one who plans the daily routes, which employees should help which users, and when. You do this with a combination of user quality, employee working environment, and the unit's economy in focus.

As a Unit Coordinator, you will be the hub of the network and work extensively with coordination and collaboration, in daily contact with users, relatives, employees, managers, and other professions within our operations. You will have daily contact and cooperation with Unit Coordinators at other home care units to achieve the highest possible quality for users and to reach a balanced economy.

As a Unit Coordinator, you will also monitor cases in SAMSA (collaboration with healthcare regarding users).

Other common administrative tasks are also included in the role.

Just like all employees within the Social Welfare Sector, the Unit Coordinator has the individual in focus.

To perform your work, you will work with various business systems. The systems are designed to facilitate your daily work and help you generate statistics used to develop the unit forward.

Who are you?

We are looking for you who have:

  • Good administrative skills and can structure and plan work in an efficient manner.
  • Good ability to use various digital tools and quickly familiarize yourself with different systems.
  • Clear communication in Swedish, both verbally and in writing. You have a good ability to meet and respond to different types of people.
  • Ability to work both independently and in collaboration with others.
  • Good problem-solving skills, as well as being flexible and able to adapt to new conditions. This is required because the operations vary greatly from day to day.
  • Category B driver's license

Merits:

  • Previous experience from a role as a Unit Coordinator within home care.
  • Previous experience working with home care planning in the Lifecare system.
  • Category B driver's license
