For us, secure welfare for all generations and care for one another are two important foundational pillars.
We are the small municipality with big opportunities. Our operations are characterized by short decision-making paths where you, as an employee, can truly make a difference through your engagement.
About the Department
The Employment and Integration Unit in Mellerud Municipality owns this initiative, which is funded by the coordination consortium, a joint coordination effort between Mellerud Municipality and Färgelanda Municipality.
Our unit consists of 16 employees who handle cases regarding financial assistance, estate administration, budget and debt counseling, housing social contracts, integration, and labor market measures. We have a cooperation agreement with all five Dalsland municipalities regarding budget and debt counseling as well as estate administration. The unit receives applications, conducts investigations and assessments, and makes decisions on potential assistance. The unit's mission is to create conditions for individuals to enter the labor market in collaboration with other actors. This can be through internships, work training, and wage subsidy work to eventually achieve self-sufficiency. Within the Individual and Family Care services in Mellerud Municipality, we place knowledge at the center and create opportunities for professional development. We offer an inclusive work environment and the chance to influence and make a difference. Do you want to become one of us?
