Are you an experienced procurement or supplier manager who thrives on building strong partnerships, driving strategic sourcing initiatives, and creating business value in an international environment? This could be your next assignment.

We are currently looking for a Supplier Manager for a global industrial company. In this role, you will be responsible for a number of strategically important suppliers and become a key figure in developing and implementing the global category strategy for third-party equipment.

You will work closely with operations, internal specialist functions, and external suppliers to ensure a competitive supplier base that supports the company's growth, profitability, and long-term development.

Your responsibilities

• Ensure that goals and priorities align with operational needs and the overall business strategy.
• Analyze and monitor the global supplier market to identify new business opportunities and potential partners.
• Drive strategic sourcing and procurement initiatives from analysis and supplier selection to negotiation and contract signing.
• Lead commercial negotiations and manage supplier contracts.
• Develop and monitor supplier performance, quality, and delivery capability.
• Ensure that supplier management is conducted according to established processes, guidelines, and quality requirements.
• Contribute to project deliveries through close collaboration with internal stakeholders and suppliers.

To succeed in this role, you need

• A university degree or civil engineer degree, or equivalent technical education.
• At least 3–5 years of experience in strategic procurement, supplier management, sourcing, or management consulting within an international organization.
• Experience working closely with technical functions such as engineering, product development, or product management.
• Documented experience in sourcing, supplier development, contract negotiations, and implementation of procurement strategies.
• Excellent negotiation skills and strong business acumen.
• Fluent proficiency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
• Meritorious: Experience from the food, packaging, or process industry.
• Meritorious: Experience in process development, partner integration, or portfolio integration.
