Your Role

As a Commercial Manager, you will be part of a professional business team focused on delivering high-quality solutions to existing and new customers, as well as within our partner programs.

The Commercial Management function is responsible for ensuring high quality and timely delivery of quotes and contracts that meet the requirements of customers and partners, while adhering to our governing processes and standards. As a Commercial Manager, you are part of the core team throughout the entire quote process and are responsible for commercial issues related to the business. The role involves cost estimation, pricing, business structuring, contract terms, and commercial risk management, as well as ensuring that business decisions comply with laws, regulations, customer requirements, and Saab's internal processes.

You are prepared to support and occasionally lead contract negotiations and due diligence processes, while actively contributing to the continuous development of our business. You will also provide support and advice on commercial and contract-related issues throughout the entire contract lifecycle and contribute to major business and partner dialogues.

The role is primarily office-based, but travel both nationally and internationally is required to lead or support customer and partner meetings and negotiations. Some travel between Saab facilities is also necessary.

Since the role involves international cooperation, excellent knowledge of both Swedish and English, both verbal and written, is required to communicate effectively and navigate the global business environment.

We are looking for someone with a university degree in engineering, law, economics, or business administration, or alternatively, relevant work experience in the field. You have several years of experience in international business activities and a good understanding of areas such as pricing, cost control, cash flow, commercial risks, and negotiations. Good knowledge of MS Excel is also important for the role.
