Description Supplier Quality Manager, Level 4

We are now looking for an SQM with extensive experience in the field of supplier quality and supplier development.

For this role, we expect a profile that has acquired knowledge and competence in relevant areas through long-term experience, which can contribute to strengthening Procurement/Procurement Quality here with us during a challenging time.

The role requires very good knowledge of classical quality work, where experience in both production quality and supplier quality is advantageous. We expect familiarity with practically using classical quality tools as well as experience with LEAN/ Six Sigma, PPAP, MSA, etc. Reading technical drawings and knowledge of form and position tolerances as well as measurement technology are important areas to perform the job well. The assignment also requires relevant higher education or equivalent suitable work experience in the current area, as well as good knowledge of English (spoken and written). Your ability to collaborate and work in a team is crucial for success.

Main Responsibilities:

• Ensure the implementation of the company's procurement strategy, procurement policy, and procedures.
• Quality assurance of purchased articles, materials, and subsystems.
• Participate in and create procurement/control preparations as needed.
• Conduct audits of suppliers and products on-site at supplier locations.
• Monitor suppliers' quality performance and drive corrective actions for suppliers who do not meet targets.
• Drive improvement programs together with suppliers.
• Handle complaints for materials that do not meet specifications and review suppliers' complaint responses.
• Handle deviations reported in production and act in collaboration with production quality personnel.
• Support younger/inexperienced colleagues and act as a mentor when needed.

Travel is a natural part of the role, primarily within Sweden and Europe where the base of our suppliers is located.
