Interim Board Secretary for the Social Services Administration
Are you passionate about societal issues and want to contribute to making local democracy work in practice? We are now looking for an interim board secretary for the Social Services Administration, as our regular board secretary is on parental leave.
You will play a key role in supporting the political decision-making process and ensuring that the work is conducted in a legally secure and efficient manner.
The Social Services Administration is responsible for support, care, and assistance for the elderly, people with disabilities, children, young people, and families. The operations also include support for substance abuse, financial difficulties, and support for relatives. The municipality also shares responsibility for primary healthcare with the region.

RESPONSIBILITIES
As a board secretary, you are responsible for the case process from registration and document handling to summonses, minutes, and dispatch of decisions. You support managers and case handlers in preparing clear decision-making materials and have many contact points with both internal and external stakeholders.
You work in a fully digital process and are part of a municipality-wide network where you contribute to developing routines and working methods. The position is located in Kumla Town Hall, within Support & Development, and you also contribute to the administration's staff work.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for you with a university degree in fields such as political science, law, or public administration, or equivalent experience. You have good knowledge of relevant legislation, such as the Local Government Act, the Administrative Procedure Act, and public access and secrecy legislation.
You express yourself very well in Swedish, both orally and in writing. As a person, you are structured, meticulous, and responsible, with a service-oriented and proactive work approach. Experience from similar work in the public sector is meritorious.

- Employment type: Fixed-term employment.
- Duration: 6 months or longer.
- Working hours: Daytime.
