The Rheumatology Section is responsible for rheumatology within Region Örebro County. The section has a total of approximately 35 employees; doctors, nurses, medical care administrators, social workers, and occupational therapists. The work at the clinic is characterized by teamwork and working methods where everyone contributes to the operations based on their competence.

Fixed-term contract for 1 year.

Job Responsibilities

The secretariat consists of seven employees. The work requires precision, flexibility, and teamwork skills. For several years, the clinic has been working to transfer a number of different administrative tasks from healthcare personnel to medical care administrators to optimize patient flow. This means great opportunities for development in the role. The tasks include writing medical records, calling in patients, DRG registration, mail handling, and a number of other administrative duties.

Qualifications

Approved education as a medical care administrator, medical secretary, or doctor's secretary. You have knowledge of patient administrative systems and the Office package. You must have good knowledge of the Swedish language and the ability to work both independently and in a group. We place great emphasis on personal qualities.

About the Operations

The Rheumatology Section operates its own clinic and has places for investigation and rehabilitation in day care. We also have inpatient beds for investigations on Ward 93 together with nephrology, and at our treatment unit, the nurses have their own clinic. Within the outpatient rehabilitation operations, we collaborate with physiotherapy.
