1 position(s).

About the Role

In Lekeberg, you will have great opportunities to work broadly and use all your knowledge and competence. If you appreciate that no day is like the other and enjoy working with both big and small tasks, then this is a workplace for you!

In this smaller municipality, we have close dialogue and collaboration between civil servants and politicians, and here you will not become an anonymous cog in a large machine.

Together with your new colleagues, you will play a key role in the municipality regarding personnel-related issues. As an HR Specialist, you are expected to work proactively and be an accessible partner to the municipality's managers. Our main focus is always a good and quality operation, and our task is to be a qualified support to the municipality's managers. Our overarching mission is to contribute to Lekeberg being an attractive employer.

Responsibilities

In your role as an HR Specialist, you will work broadly across the entire HR area, which means supporting managers in issues including but not limited to:

  • recruitment and competence supply
  • work environment
  • rehabilitation
  • contract interpretation and labor law
  • negotiations and labor law cases
  • salary formation
  • creation and analysis of statistical data
  • certain investigative work

Your tasks involve both operational and strategic work. You will contribute to improving HR processes with routines and structures to support our managers in various personnel-related issues and in their managerial roles. Your work also includes system administration, creating various steering documents, and drafting decision materials for political decisions within the HR area.

The HR Specialists work targeted towards one or two departments for part of their working time and serve as the first point of contact for the department within HR. In this way, you get great opportunities to get to know the operations, build relationships, and become well-versed in what is happening in daily work. However, we are keen on helping each other and distribute the different assignments from the departments internally when needed. Depending on your knowledge, competencies, and experience, tasks and areas of responsibility may vary.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who has:

  • an academic degree of at least 180 higher education credits as a human resources professional or another education focused on personnel and working life issues
  • several years of experience in qualified HR work
  • a good habit and knowledge of using digital tools in your daily work
  • very good ability to express yourself in speech and writing in Swedish
  • current knowledge of applicable laws and agreements within the HR area and experience applying them in practice
  • a B-driver's license

Merits include:

  • experience working in a politically governed organization
  • experience working with municipal collective agreements
  • if you have worked in one or more of the systems Personec, Winlas, Platina, Stratsys, Visma Recruit, Adato, or Novi.

To handle this assignment, you must be a very good administrator who plans, prioritizes, and takes responsibility for your tasks with quality and efficiency. The work requires you to work independently and drive assignments forward.

To succeed in the role, you as a person need to have personal maturity, be stable, and have an easy time building relationships and creating trust. Your self-awareness gives you the ability to distinguish between the personal and professional, and you are not afraid to ask questions when you encounter challenges. Since the work involves handling complex personnel cases, it is important that you have high integrity, good judgment, and feel secure in your competence.

It will be easier in your daily work if you feel comfortable speaking in front of larger groups, as you may be asked to lead training for managers or present cases to the politicians.

You need to be flexible, easily adapt to new conditions, and be solution-oriented since no day is like the other. The ability to analyze and create a holistic view of many parts is a valuable asset for handling the role. We consider it a given that you also have an interest in and are good at collaboration and cooperation with managers, trade unions, colleagues, and external actors.

You take responsibility for continuously maintaining and developing your knowledge through environmental scanning and your own initiatives for development. We appreciate that you are a person who brings your own ideas on how to develop and improve operations. We will place great emphasis on personal suitability in this recruitment.

Process

Selection will take place during weeks 29-30. If you progress in the process, you may be contacted to take a work psychological test before the interview. Interviews are expected to begin at the end of week 33.

Employment type: Permanent position.
Duration: Permanent.
