Sydnärkes Educational Consortium is a municipal consortium located in Hallsberg, with Askersund, Hallsberg, and Laxå as member municipalities. On behalf of the member municipalities, we lead and are responsible for upper secondary education, adult education, and commissioned training. We offer 12 national upper secondary programs, introductory programs, and adapted upper secondary schools. In addition, we also operate Komvux (adult education) at Allévux.

We have a total of approximately 1,800 students, of whom 1,300 are at Alléskolan and 500 at Allévux. We have around 300 employees, and in daily work, support is available in the form of functions such as administration, HR, finance, and IT. Here, you also receive a wellness allowance and wellness hour, as well as the opportunity to exchange vacation days.

Job Responsibilities

As a scheduler with us, you play a central role in the school's daily operations and long-term planning. You are the link between school management, the distribution of teachers' duties, and the students' study situation. Your task is to create an optimal schedule where pedagogical quality meets resource efficiency.

Your main responsibilities:

  • Strategic scheduling and resource planning: Build and optimize the school schedule for the academic year, terms, and periods.
  • Duty distribution: Translate school management's duty distribution into concrete schedule structures and ensure that frameworks and agreements are maintained.
  • System administration: Be responsible for and maintain information in our administrative systems, with a focus on Skola24.
  • Collaboration: Have a close and ongoing dialogue with principals, program leaders, teachers, career counselors (SYV), and student health services.

The position also includes, among other things, organizing national tests, planning of choices and educational offerings, and preparing the basis for staffing and group organization.

Qualifications

To thrive and succeed in the role, you are a person who loves structure but also has the ability to adapt when conditions change. You are communicative and service-oriented, as the role involves many contact surfaces. You have good analytical skills and see solutions where others see conflicts.

Our requirements for the position:

  • Upper secondary education.
  • Documented experience in scheduling and duty distribution within the school world (preferably upper secondary level).
  • Very good knowledge of Skola24 – you handle the system unimpeded and efficiently.
  • Good understanding of the school's organization, collective agreements, and working time regulations.
  • Fluent in Swedish, both in speech and writing.

Merits:

  • Experience with other systems such as Vklass, Edlevo, Google Workspace, and Excel.
  • Experience with the upper secondary school's program structure and point plans.
  • University education considered relevant for the position.

Great importance will be attached to personal suitability.

Employment Terms

  • Salary: Monthly salary.
  • Employment type: Fixed-term employment.
  • Duration: 6 months or longer. Start date: 2026-08-12 or by agreement. End date: 2027-06-11.
  • Working hours: Daytime.
