The Education Department is responsible for the municipality's childcare and educational activities, from preschool and after-school care to preschool class, primary school, and adapted school. Our vision is that Askersund Municipality shall offer every child and youth a preschool and school that ensures the future is for everyone. A future filled with opportunities. Närlundaskolan is a preschool to grade 6 school with approximately 430 students. The school is beautifully located near both forest and lake. Our school buildings are newly built/renovated with a focus on a good learning environment for both students and staff.

Responsibilities

As a School Superintendent at Närlundaskolan, you are a key person in the school's daily operations. In close collaboration with the school leadership, educators, and other staff, you contribute to creating functioning routines, good service, and an efficient organization. Therefore, we value your ability to communicate well with students, guardians, and staff alike.

The assignment involves overall responsibility for ensuring the school's administrative and practical matters run smoothly. The role includes being responsible for and further developing administrative processes and routines, as well as supporting the principal in daily work.

The work also includes handling operational systems and coordinating various administrative tasks. An important part of the assignment is to support staff in administrative and practical matters and to actively contribute to the development and improvement of the school's working methods.

Qualifications

We are looking for you with relevant higher education, preferably with an economic, administrative, or pedagogical focus. Previous knowledge of systems such as Raindance, Edlevo, Personec, and InfoMentor is meritorious.

You are structured and service-oriented with a good ability to create order and overview in a complex operation. You can work independently, are responsible, and have good digital competence and the ability to quickly get up to speed with new systems.

You are communicative and solution-focused, and thrive in a high work pace with many balls in the air.

Great importance is attached to personal suitability.
