Job Description

Dammfriskolan is looking for a Teacher for Grades 6-9, English and German.

As a teacher at Dammfriskolan, you plan and conduct teaching and assess students' acquired knowledge. You evaluate and develop pedagogical work based on the school's governing documents, as well as the students' needs and interests, both individually and in collaboration with the teaching team. You conduct modern and creative teaching, finding strategies to reach every student and strengthen them in both knowledge development and personal growth. You collaborate with other school staff to create a good learning and working environment for both students and staff, and actively participate in the school's development work. The role may also include mentorship and supervision of students.

Qualifications

You are a certified teacher with eligibility to teach German and English in grades 6–9. Previous experience working as a teacher is considered an asset. You have good insight into and knowledge of the school's governing documents and can use them effectively in your daily work. Furthermore, you have strong didactic and pedagogical skills, enabling you to lead and organize your work to create a conducive learning environment and good study atmosphere for our students throughout the school day.

Based on evidence-based research, you develop your work, and with good knowledge and practice, you work effectively with relevant digital tools. You have a professional approach and work actively to build good relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues.
