Strandängsskolan is a school covering grades F-9 with approximately 530 students. It consists of 5 work teams supported by a resource and support organization to meet the needs of all students. RESPONSIBILITIES

As a teacher in Spanish and Swedish as a Second Language (SvA), you will teach students in grades 6-9. You will collaborate closely with the other Spanish teacher at the school and work together with other colleagues in your work team.

You are expected to continuously plan and evaluate your teaching and take responsibility for your pedagogical documentation regarding the students. We would like you to be solution-focused, quick to take initiative, and eager to contribute to the development of our school. You have the ability to inspire and engage others while being clear and direct.

You will belong to a work team, where you, together with your colleagues, are responsible for the pedagogical work. You will serve as a mentor for a class together with a colleague from your work team.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for a certified teacher in Spanish and Swedish as a Second Language (SvA) for grades 6-9 during the autumn semester. In your role, you will collaborate and cooperate with other educators in your subjects.

Personal suitability is given great importance.

Experience is meritorious, but we are certainly happy to welcome newly graduated teachers who want to take their first steps into working life here at Strandängsskolan.

Employment type: Fixed-term employment.
Duration: 3-6 months, Start date: 2026-08-05, End date: 2026-12-18.
