The authority is located in five municipalities. The Department for Permits and School Finance is located in Stockholm.

We are looking for a case officer who wants to work with processing and assessment of cases at the Permit Assessment Unit.

Responsibilities

You will be part of the Permit Assessment Unit, which assesses applications to start or expand the operations of independent schools. Currently, there is work underway to revoke permits that are not being used. The work mainly involves investigating cases regarding the revocation of unused permits. As a case officer, you will independently perform investigative work, which includes collecting, analyzing, and assessing materials, as well as writing and presenting decisions. Compiling information and updating a digital database with current permit details is also part of the job. Contact with individual principals, municipalities, and the public may occur in your work.

Qualifications

You have

  • a university degree or equivalent relevant education
  • at least 12 months of current experience in revoking permits
  • good ability to express yourself clearly and correctly in speech and writing
  • experience with database administration
  • good knowledge of the Office package

  • experience working at the Swedish Schools Inspectorate

The Position

The position is a fixed-term employment until December 31, 2026. The scope is full-time. Interviews may take place on an ongoing basis.
