Welcome to the Finance Department and the Business Control and Risk unit (VFSV), which supports management with content, progress, and follow-up in meeting our mission and goals, as well as reporting back to the government. The unit is responsible for the agency's management process, as well as business planning and follow-up. The unit is also responsible for the agency's financial and operational risk management and overall follow-up of internal control and governance.

About the role

Svenska Kraft Network's mission has grown due to extensive expansion of the transmission network and a changing energy market. Consequently, the finance operations are also in a development phase, focusing on financial risk management.

The role involves working with financial risk management based on the agency's Finance Policy. Key responsibilities include:

• Development of processes and governance documents for financial risk management.
• Securities for contracts, such as bank guarantees, insurance, or other solutions.
• Credit assessments and credit reports.
• Currency management, including forecasting and hedging.
• Responsibility for financial matters related to grid reinforcement loans.
• Support to operations in financial questions and assessments related to the asset portfolio.
• Participation in risk analyses.

Education:

University-level education in economics, at least equivalent to a Bachelor's degree.

You also have:

• At least 5 years of experience in financial risk management in large corporations or government agencies.
• Good ability to express yourself in speech and writing in Swedish and English.

Meritorious

Experience from:

• Work with contract insurance.
• Development and management of processes and governing documents for financial risk management.
• Energy and electricity markets.
• Experience facilitating or participating in risk analyses.
