About Tjust Treatment Families – Part of Viljan
Tjust Treatment Families, part of Viljan, provides qualified treatment for children and young people placed by social services in our treatment families. These children and young people often have a history of care neglect, experienced trauma in the form of violence and abuse, multiple previous placements, and often in combination with neuropsychiatric diagnoses. This is one of society's most vulnerable groups, whom we help create the conditions for change together with, using interdisciplinary teams. The business started as a family company in 2004. Since 2021, the company has been part of the Attendo Group and Viljan Individual and Family Care.
The work groups at the offices in Jönköping, Norrköping, and Västervik consist of treatment coordinators, psychologists, and operations managers. Our treatment families are geographically located around Jönköping, Norrköping, and Västervik. Child psychiatrists are available on a consultancy basis. External team supervision is provided.
About the Psychologist Role
Tjust Treatment Families has, over a long period, built up a working model based on a relational-psychodynamic and social-psychological perspective. The working methods are clearly anchored in mentalization and attachment theories. Our operations have a basic structure based on an environmental therapeutic approach. Each placed child or young person has their own specific team.
You will conduct qualified psychotherapeutic treatment work focused on children and young people. You will perform psychological assessments upon placement and ongoing follow-ups during the treatment period to monitor the young person's development. Based on the psychological assessment, the need for psychotherapeutic treatment for each child/young person is determined. Together in the team, consisting of treatment coordinators, treatment families, and child psychiatrists, you will plan the young person's treatment interventions based on Tjust Treatment Families' working model and the social services' mandate.
As a psychologist with us, you will be based at our offices in Västervik and Norrköping, which will involve some travel between offices. Currently, there are three employed psychologists, and we now wish to expand with one additional position. These meet continuously for joint development as well as for internal supervision and external psychotherapy supervision.
Qualifications
- You must be a licensed psychologist.
- You have clinical experience working with children and young people.
- A psychotherapeutic education is an advantage.
- You should have experience with the most common psychological testing and assessment instruments within the field.
- Class B driver's license.
We work in teams regarding the process for each placed child or young person. This places high demands on your ability to collaborate, flexibility, courage, and an understanding that we humans are largely shaped by meetings with others in our surroundings and that the opportunity for change lies in these meetings.
