We offer you a varied and developing work environment. On Ward 17, we care for patients within hematology/gastroenterology, stroke/neurology, and pulmonology. As a nurse with us, you work towards one of our specialties based on your interest and experience. We have a strong sense of community and dedicated employees. At our workplace, you will be well taken care of.
In your role as a nurse, you are a natural part of the patient's care. You actively participate in medical treatment in close collaboration with other professional categories. You are responsible for the patient's nursing care, participate in acute interventions, and perform and follow up on medical orders. The entire team works with the goal of providing good and safe care for the patient. On the ward, many different professional categories work in teams with the patient at the center. The operations run 24/7.

About You
We are looking for you who are a licensed nurse. You should be responsible, have good cooperation skills, be able to work independently, and have the ability to prioritize. We are looking for someone who is positive and wants to contribute to the development of our operations. Personal suitability is given great importance.
Your Future Workplace
The Medical Clinic primarily has an emergency and primary care mandate. In collaboration with other clinics, we offer citizens good and safe care. The clinic offers complete internal medicine operations with advanced care in both outpatient and inpatient settings. The Medical Clinic includes the following areas: diabetes and endocrinology, hematology, cardiology, pulmonology, gastroenterology, neurology and stroke, nephrology/dialysis, and rheumatology.
Kalmar County Hospital is one of three hospitals in Kalmar County. The hospital is an emergency hospital with specialist care, maternity care, and neonatal care. Over 2,300 people work here to provide good care and high patient safety to the county's inhabitants. Our employees' continuous development work allows us to achieve good results in several different national measurements. The hospital is located close to Kalmar center and Kalmar Sound.
