Nurse for Primary Care in Kalmar

The nursing role within primary care involves a wide variety of tasks. We work, among other things, with district nurse clinics as well as a range of different specialist clinics, such as diabetes, dementia, asthma/COPD, incontinence, lifestyle, care coordination, and vaccination. We are currently offering you a developing and exciting position as a nurse at our health center.

At our facility, we work with telephone advice, which involves making assessments, providing self-care advice, booking in patients who need assessment, or directing them to the appropriate healthcare provider. Here, you will become part of our dedicated team. We encourage you to work actively to develop internal working methods together with other professional groups at the workplace.

About You

To be considered for this position, you must be a licensed nurse. We are looking for someone who wants to work with the patient's best interests at the forefront, where your interest in patient interaction and engagement is a key part of the role. To fit the position, you need to be responsible and able to work independently based on your own planning. Experience working in primary care is highly valued.

The health center at Stora Trädgårdsgatan is an attractive employer with a good reputation. The nursing group consists of 12 employees who work independently with their tasks while simultaneously helping each other within the group. We work with mentorship, where you have regular contact with your mentor. Our opening hours are 7:30 AM – 5:00 PM on weekdays, and we accommodate schedule preferences as much as possible. Working at the weekend open health center is part of our mandate, meaning that as a nurse, you will work every 12th weekend.
