Job Responsibilities

As a summer temporary staff member at our specialized housing facilities, Mariahemmet or Solgläntan, you will have a summer job where your efforts truly make a difference. You work with elderly people who need support in their daily lives and contribute to their security, participation, and quality of life.

Your tasks vary and may include help with personal care, such as dressing, hygiene, and meals, practical chores like cleaning and shopping, as well as social activities and conversations. Your care and engagement in meeting the residents are the most important things.

Since the operations at the specialized housing facilities run around the clock, the work includes scheduled shifts on weekdays, weekends, as well as evenings and nights. We would like applicants who can work nights during the summer. After the summer, there are good opportunities to continue as an hourly temporary staff member.

Qualifications

We do not require previous experience, but to thrive in the role, you need to have a genuine interest in people and a desire to make a difference. You will receive a thorough introduction before you start. For us, your attitude and engagement are most important.

You have a genuine interest in people and perform your work in a respectful and professional manner. You collaborate well with colleagues and create good relationships in meeting the people you support.

It is meritorious if you have ongoing or completed education within the Care and Nursing Program, Nursing Program, or other relevant care education. Experience in care work, pedagogy, or behavioral science is also meritorious. If you have worked for us before and have good references, we also see this as positive.

For all summer temporary positions, you must:

  • Be at least 18 years old
  • Have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written

A B-class driver's license is required for some positions. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.

In connection with the interview, you need to be able to prove your identity through a valid ID document.
