We are looking for an engaged and curious occupational therapist for Samrehab District Rehabilitation in Vimmerby/Hultsfred. Here, you will become part of a knowledgeable and engaged work group with a positive, open, and developmental work climate. We use a person-centered approach and continuously work to strengthen the rehabilitation process for patients.

As an occupational therapist, you will meet patients of all ages with varying needs and ailments. The work is varied and independent, while you work closely with other professions within health centers, municipalities, and hospitals. We see a growing need for rehabilitative interventions for children, young people, and adults with mental ill health, where the occupational therapist plays an important role. Here, you will have the opportunity to help develop this area together with engaged colleagues.

About You

We are looking for you who are a licensed occupational therapist. You have good collaboration skills and thrive working in a team. You have a good ability to work independently, plan, and prioritize your work. You are engaged and recognize the importance of strengthening patients' participation, self-efficacy, and health. Your Future Workplace

You will be part of a work group consisting of occupational therapists, physiotherapists, rehabilitation assistants, and medical secretaries. You will have close collaboration with other colleagues within rehabilitation in Kalmar County Council, health centers, and hospitals.

Healthcare is facing challenges, and to meet these, we work systematically to develop close care, where rehabilitation is a central part of the patient's care and treatment. In the development work and the transition to close care, you, together with your team, will be an important resource, where good collaboration between the units of the basic entity plays a crucial role, as well as collaboration with hospitals, municipalities, and primary care.
