As a nurse with us, you will have a varied and meaningful job when meeting patients with different needs – from short-term acute interventions to long-term treatment. You work both independently and in close collaboration with your team, which consists of nurses, doctors, care assistants, and social workers. The tasks include leadership, medication management, psychiatric nursing, assessments, documentation, and supportive conversations. You also actively contribute to a positive work environment.

We want to succeed together in our mission, and to do that, we work in close collaboration within inpatient care, which consists of a psychiatric intensive care unit and two inpatient wards.

The position is located within adult psychiatric inpatient care in Kalmar, and the working hours are daytime, evening, and weekends.

About You

You are a licensed nurse with a heart for psychiatry. Previous work experience from psychiatric care is an advantage.

As a person, you see the value of building and maintaining good relationships with patients and colleagues, which is a key factor for effective collaboration and problem-solving.

You have good communication skills, which allows you to express yourself clearly and adapt your language and message to the recipient and situation.

As a nurse, you have a leadership role on the ward with a focus on the patient for respectful and considerate treatment.

Your Future Workplace

You will work in newly built and modern premises specifically adapted for specialized psychiatry. These premises promote efficient coordination within psychiatric operations and offer a pleasant environment for you, with spacious staff areas and a beautiful view over the Kalmar Sound and Öland. We are a clinic with 37 care beds and approximately 230 employees. Here there are three inpatient wards and two outpatient clinics.
