Care Assistant for Säbo Edshöjden

We are now looking for care assistants for Säbo Edshöjden.

Your Responsibilities

Your role as a care assistant with us consists of providing care, as well as help and support to residents based on their individual needs.

Some of the tasks included in the position are:

• Provide personal care and support in daily life
• Perform delegated health and medical care tasks
• Work according to implementation plans and document in the medical records system
• Collaborate with colleagues, nurses, and relatives
• Contribute to a pleasant environment and be a support in both social and physical activities

You will work according to a schedule covering days, evenings, and weekends. We also work with desired employment levels, and resource shifts may be assigned to other units in our area.

We work with a key worker system, which means you will have primary responsibility for some of the residents. As part of this, we hold regular team meetings, and our home teams include care staff, unit managers, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, and nurses.

Your Qualifications

We want you, the applicant, to have a degree from the Care and Nursing Programme or equivalent education assessed by the employer as comparable. The position requires good computer skills and good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written. A valid Category B driver's license is also a requirement.

You are a secure and stable person who has the ability to put yourself in the residents' perspective. It is important that you take responsibility for your tasks and independently plan your work in an efficient manner to meet the residents' needs.

The position also requires you to be flexible and able to adapt quickly to changes in operations. It is of great importance that you have good teamwork skills, show interest in the residents, and provide good customer service.

Probationary employment may be applicable for this position.
