As a nurse with us, you will work in an exciting, constantly developing operation where we value good accessibility for our residents. In the role of nurse, you provide medical advice and guide patients to the appropriate level of care via telephone and digital services, as well as self-care advice, supported by national advisory guidelines.

About you
To be eligible for this position, you must be a licensed nurse. To fit the role, we would like you to have an aptitude for understanding the patient's situation, while being confident in your medical assessments and able to see the bigger picture regarding both the patient and the operation. We value a professional approach, where good teamwork skills, strong communication skills, and the ability to work in a structured and efficient manner are prerequisites for the role.
Working hours include day shifts, evening shifts, and weekend work. The primary basis of the operation is on-site work at our office, with the possibility of remote work.
We offer ongoing competence development and supervision, both individually and in groups.
Your future workplace
We are located in two places in the county – Kalmar and Västervik. 1177 Healthcare Guide by phone is staffed with nurses and is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. We answer questions, provide self-care advice, and refer patients to the appropriate level of care. The advisory support we use contains quality-assured medical information based on the same fact base as found on the website 1177.se.
