The municipal primary care in Nybro is organized into geographically divided work teams. Here, you work closely with your nursing colleagues within your own team, while also collaborating across area boundaries to ensure safe and cohesive care for our patients.

In the evenings and on weekends, you work with colleagues from different areas where you share the same workplace and divide the work together. Most nurses work approximately 5 evenings and 2 weekends per 8-week period.

Job Description

The duties include standard nursing tasks within both ordinary and special housing. The patient's needs drive the assignment, which means the tasks can be very varied – from basic health interventions to advanced home healthcare. Here you will have a varied and qualified job where you, among other things, work with advanced wound care, injections, management of central lines, assessments, and palliative care with a focus on patient security and dignity.

As a patient responsible nurse, a key part of your job is to protect the patient group's integrity and right to self-determination. You work in a cross-professional manner together with care staff, rehabilitation personnel, assistance handlers, unit managers, and the region to ensure good and safe care.

The work is characterized by variety, responsibility, and the opportunity to truly make a difference.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse (RN)
• Some years of experience in the profession
• Specialist education in elderly care, dementia care, or district nursing is preferred
• Good ability to plan, prioritize, and work independently
• Confident in teamwork and sees solutions instead of obstacles
• Works in a person-centered manner and according to the Swedish National Association of Nurses' competency description for registered nurses

Desired proficiency in the following systems: Cosmic, Lifecare, APPVA.

Personal suitability is highly valued. A Category B driver's license is required.
