RESPONSIBILITIES

The Rehabilitation Department is seeking a temporary Assistive Device / Rehab Assistant. The role involves working in the department's assistive device warehouse in Mörbylånga, as well as working as a rehab assistant.

As an assistive device assistant, you will work with the refurbishment and repair of assistive devices in our warehouse. You will also make home visits for troubleshooting, repair, or replacement of assistive devices. The work also includes warehousing, purchasing, and receiving of assistive devices. You will work in close collaboration with occupational therapists, physiotherapists, and rehab assistants. A well-functioning assistive device service is a fundamental prerequisite for the rehabilitation department to support municipal residents in living as independent and active a life as possible.

As a rehab assistant, you will work with home rehabilitation in collaboration with occupational therapists and physiotherapists. You will perform tasks both independently and together with therapists, for example, training periods in the patient's home.

QUALIFICATIONS

Rehab Assistant education or Nurse Assistant (undersköterska) degree with experience in working with assistive devices and rehabilitation. Personal suitability, flexibility, and good collaboration skills are highly valued.

A B-class driver's license is required.

To be considered for employment within social care in Mörbylånga Municipality, the employer will request that the applicant presents an extract from the police criminal record register regarding care homes (HVB).

Salary: Monthly salary.
Employment type: Fixed-term employment.
Duration: Permanent, start date: 2025-10-26 or by agreement, end date: 2027-08-31.
