We run a general speech therapy outpatient clinic, and as a speech therapist here, you will meet both children and adults and work with the assessment and treatment of language, speech, swallowing, voice, and communication difficulties. Your work will take place both individually and in collaboration with your colleagues at the ENT Clinic. The team at the ENT Clinic consists of speech therapists, audiologists, ENT doctors, audiologists, hearing educators, special educators, counselors, hearing care engineers, nurses, assistant nurses, and medical secretaries.

The ENT Clinic at Västervik Hospital provides ear, nose, and throat care, including hearing care and speech therapy, in both Västervik and Oskarshamn. The clinic serves patients with acute and chronic upper respiratory tract infections, as well as chronic, inflammatory, and allergy or hypersensitivity-related conditions in the upper airways. Additionally, the clinic handles neurological diseases, swallowing disorders, treatment of traumatic injuries, tumors, obstructive sleep disorders, as well as voice, speech, and language disorders. An important part of the operations involves hearing care for all ages. The specialty treats congenital and acquired diseases and injuries and covers both acute and non-acute conditions in patient groups of all ages.

Västervik Hospital is one of three hospitals in Kalmar County. The hospital is an emergency hospital with maternity care and a neonatal ward.
