RESPONSIBILITIES

The short-term accommodation at Stångehamnsvägen 139 is a residence for children and young people with various disabilities aged 0-21 years. The residence is located in the Kristineberg area and currently has 12 registered children and young people. Together with colleagues, you are responsible for providing them with support and guidance. You form a positive team and contribute with high-quality and stimulating activities that promote a meaningful everyday life for the children/young people. The work team you will belong to consists of 16 people, where the unit manager is your closest contact. Cooperation with other units also occurs.

The duties as a care assistant are based on general nursing care with associated personal care. This may include, for example, tube feeding, transfers, personal hygiene, food intake, etc. We also prepare all meals ourselves at the residence. The assignment includes documentation in the electronic journal as well as medical tasks. Working hours are scheduled for days, evenings, on-call shifts, and weekends. The assignment involves some independent work.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who have a nursing assistant degree or other education that the employer finds equivalent. Meritorious if you have post-secondary education in the field of disability/psychiatry and/or previous experience working with the target group. You have knowledge of low-affective handling and TSS (signs as support). A B-driver's license is required, as well as being clear in your communication in speech and writing in Swedish. Basic computer skills are desirable.
