Hälsingland Educational Consortium is a municipal consortium formed by the municipalities of Bollnäs and Söderhamn, tasked with meeting students' demand for education with breadth and quality.

The consortium's work is characterized by being a motor for growth, a broker of education, and a meeting place for development. We run upper secondary and adult education for the municipalities' residents, as well as providing opportunities for university college studies and distance learning at universities. We also offer commissioned training for companies and organizations, as well as opportunities for research and development.

Job Description

As a teacher with us, you will teach adults within Small-Scale Farming Education. Within Small-Scale Farming, we offer education focused on sustainable development, practical learning, and individual development. The teaching includes both practical and theoretical components, as well as work-based learning (APL). The teaching is conducted online, mixed with physical meetings during weekends.

The education includes among other things:

• Food craftsmanship and food processing
• Vegetable cultivation and sustainable growing methods
• Eco-thinking and resource management
• Practical work related to cultivation and raw material handling

Qualifications

We are looking for you who:

Are a certified teacher or have education/experience that the employer considers equivalent.

As a teacher, you should have a good ability to communicate the goals of the teaching and to clarify your assessment for the students, as well as the ability to adapt your working method to the target group.

Together with your colleagues, you contribute to the development of the education. We see that you are receptive, have good cooperation skills, and can work both structured and independently. We place great emphasis on personal qualities and suitability. A requirement is that you have good knowledge in the following areas:

• Food craftsmanship and food processing
• Vegetable cultivation and sustainable growing methods
• Eco-thinking and resource management

Experience from working with sustainability, cultivation, and food craftsmanship is meritorious.
