Östra Skolan has 385 students in grades 7–9. We strive to be an open and safe school where every student can be who they are and reach their goals. Job Responsibilities

As a teacher in Science (NO) and Technology (TK), you will teach grades 7–9. You will also have a mentorship role in a class together with a colleague. In this work, you will collaborate with the student health team and the resource team. You are part of a work team that makes important contributions to the development of Östra Skolan. The subject team is central to the planning and development of teaching in your subjects, where collegial learning and collaboration take place. At Östra Skolan, we work to ensure that everyone working around the students feels included in the work of developing the school.

Your Profile

You have a teaching license with eligibility to teach Science (NO) and Technology (TK). We place great emphasis on personal suitability.

About the Department

We teach children to read, calculate, and discover the world around them. Here, we follow our youngest residents from preschool until they graduate from upper secondary school. Through our adult education programs, one can learn Swedish as a second language, take individual courses, or pursue longer education. With joy, commitment, inclusion, and a scientific foundation, we aim to increase knowledge, creativity, development, and the desire to learn. At our school, all children, young people, and adults should feel that they can, want to, and dare to! Together, we are the Learning Department – part of Hudiksvall Municipality.
