Job Description

We are looking for a Production Manager for our fire and rescue operations in Värmland/Dalsland, Närke, Västmanland, and Uppland. This is a role for you if you want to be close to the operations, support employees in their daily work, and together create a safe and professional delivery within a socially important service.

In this role, you lead and coach an engaged team of specialists who work with fire and security solutions for our customers. You ensure that our deliveries meet agreed commitments and maintain high quality, while contributing to good customer experiences and long-term relationships. A stable and well-functioning delivery also creates opportunities for further development of our business.

The role involves a coordinating and developmental function regarding planning, follow-up, and improvement of the delivery. You collaborate closely with both customers and our sales organization in startups and business matters. You have a holistic grasp of economics, quality, and working environment within your area, with a focus on sustainable results and employee well-being.

An important part of the assignment is to further develop working methods, structure, and processes, and to implement new initiatives in daily work in a clear and non-hierarchical manner. You monitor goals and key figures and make thoughtful decisions that balance the needs of the business with quality and human perspectives.

You report to the District Manager and collaborate with several parts of Securitas in a broad and cross-functional context.

Your overall responsibilities as Production Manager Fire are:

  • Responsible for a stable, high-quality, and profitable operational delivery within fire, rescue, and training.
  • Lead and develop your team through an present and trust-based leadership style.
  • Drive structure, follow-up, and results through clear goals, KPIs, and economic responsibility.
  • Develop working methods, processes, and delivery capacity in line with business needs.
  • Create strong customer relationships and contribute to business development in close collaboration with Commercial & Solution.
  • Ensure safety, regulatory compliance, and good cooperation within and outside your own area.
  • Lead and monitor systematic work environment efforts.

Location: Securitas office in Örebro, alternatively Karlstad, Västerås, or Uppsala based on agreement. Frequent travel to these cities occurs to visit and support different parts of the operations.

Working Hours: Primarily daytime, with flexibility based on operational needs.

Requirements

We are looking for you who have experience leading an operational service business and feel confident taking overall responsibility. You have previously worked systematically with delivery, customer experience, and economics and have a good understanding of how to run a sustainable and profitable business.

Must-have qualifications:

  • Experience leading an operational business within the fire protection segment.
  • Good knowledge of regulations and safety requirements within fire protection, e.g., SBA.
  • Documented management experience including P&L responsibility.
  • Experience in customer-facing work and responsibility for delivering according to contract.
  • Has worked systematically with follow-up of goals, economics, and key figures.
  • Relevant post-secondary education in technology, economics, leadership, or another direction relevant to the role, or equivalent work experience.
  • Fluent in Swedish (spoken and written) and very good knowledge of English.
  • Valid driver's license (Category B).

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in personnel management, including employee interviews and work environment issues.
  • Education in fire technology, SBA, or other fire protection.
  • Technical education in electricity, installation, or security.
  • Work environment or leadership training.
