Barkarby Skälby Preschools consists of five preschools: Helikoptervägen, Skälby, Polaris, Orion, and from autumn 2026, Brasvägen Preschool. All our preschools are located close to parks, forests, and green areas.

Responsibilities

As an educator (barnskötare), you will work together with the work team to lay the foundation for lifelong learning that is fun, secure, and educational for all children. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, pedagogical documentation, and being responsible for planning, leading, implementing, evaluating, and developing teaching. For this, you need to be well-versed in the preschool's guiding documents.

You will plan and implement education together with the work team in a way that promotes children's development, health, and well-being. Your assignment involves meeting all children with respect for their person and giving each child the prerequisites to develop trust and self-confidence. All who work within the preschool must show respect for the individual and contribute to creating a democratic climate. You will collaborate with families and create trusting relationships with both parents and colleagues.

In Järfälla, we have a developed strategy for increased quality in Järfälla's preschools. It is divided into four strategic areas:

• Competence in all levels of the preschool (one of the sub-goals is at least one preschool teacher per 15 children)
• Organize the preschool so that conditions exist to promote learning and security
• Awake children's curiosity and desire for learning
• An active quality work in the preschool

Qualifications

Requirements:

• Educated as an educator (barnskötare)

Merits:

• Experience in pedagogical work in preschool
• Knowledge and experience regarding diabetes
• Training in Före Bornholm
• Training in TAKK (Total Communication)
