Description

Tungelsta School is located in the southern part of Haninge Municipality. The school's catchment area consists of urban areas and the countryside. Stockholm City is within a convenient commuting distance, approximately 30 minutes by car or commuter train. It takes about 10 minutes to walk to the school from Tungelsta Station. A bus stop is located outside the school.

Tungelsta School is organized into year-group teams for grades F-9. Each team is led by a team leader.

At Tungelsta School, we are constantly discussing school development to improve results and increase equity. We work to develop greater participation and responsibility among all staff members to create well-being and good learning environments for our students.

We are looking for you who have worked in a school and have experience working with students as well as knowledge of good learning environments. You are a clear and secure person who, with joy and creativity, focuses on the students' learning.

Your role will be as a senior mentor (stormentor) in grade 7 at the lower secondary school. We want you to use your knowledge and experience to optimize the students' opportunities for a successful school career.

We are looking for you who is a relationship-building and trustworthy person with communication skills and who finds it easy to connect with young people.

You will be responsible for attendance/absence, conflict management, contact with students and guardians, and close contact with the school's student health team. You will also support students in their education and work with documentation.

The position is a probationary employment with the possibility of a permanent position.
