We are now looking for a qualified childcare worker for Silverbäcken's after-school center. In this role, you will contribute to creating a positive, meaningful, and developmental environment for the students. You aim to work towards close collaboration between the school and the after-school program. You share responsibility for quality, development, and operations in a way that makes students feel valued, guardians feel secure, and colleagues have the chance to do a good job.

Profile Description

At Silverbäcken, you are provided with the conditions to work according to the after-school center's mission. You are expected to be a team player and well-acquainted with work within schools and after-school centers. It is also important that you enjoy working outdoors, as the majority of our activities, both mornings and afternoons, year-round, take place on the schoolyard and in the forest.

You will work in a well-functioning team consisting of childcare workers and after-school teachers, who collaborate with class teachers to deliver a world-class after-school program for our students, both in the morning and afternoon. You will become part of a driven team that leverages each other's strengths, has a strong development mindset, and helps each other grow in our role as educators. To achieve this, you have planning time with the entire after-school team, as well as with the educators in your grade. You also have stand-by time every day where you are expected to participate in preparations for the afternoon's activities.

The schedule may include both opening and closing duties.

Your Qualifications

• You are a qualified and authorized childcare worker.
• Work experience within schools/after-school centers.
• You have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.
• You can communicate with people from different backgrounds and in different life situations.
• You have the ability to plan and organize your work and take responsibility for joint tasks within the team/organization.
• You believe that students learn from being offered varied education, which for us means regularly using the surrounding nature as a classroom.
• You have an approach characterized by trust in the student's ability and a clear desire to make students feel included.
• You keep up to date by participating in and absorbing the courses and training offered.
• You identify with Dibber's values and treat others with respect and equality.
