Here, we work based on the user's participation, influence, and self-determination in their daily lives. Our work is grounded in the LSS Act (Act concerning Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments) and Stockholm City's quality program, where the needs and perspectives of Stockholmers are central.

We are now seeking 4–6 SUPPORT ASSISTANTS for a newly opened group home within the LSS framework.

You will work scheduled hours including day shifts, evening shifts, sleeping on-call duties, and every other weekend.

Your role

The foundation lies in the LSS Act, target group 1, as well as other legislation within social work.

You will work based on the job description for support assistants within the unit.

The assignment includes, among other things:

• Following the district's and unit's guidelines, routines, and policies.
• Being a support person for users.
• Actively promoting good relationships with users, relatives, and others within the organization.
• Documenting in Parasol.
• Being active in following up on the user's implementation plan and development goals.
• Participating actively in staff meetings, APT (Individual Planning Meetings), and planning days.
• Working actively with the assigned caseload together with colleagues and contributing to the organization's quality assurance.

Your skills and experience

You should have adequate education as a support assistant or equivalent.

Meritorious qualifications include knowledge in AKK (Augmentative and Alternative Communication), Low-Affective Approach, Motivational Interviewing, Autism, and social documentation.

We always take references and request extracts from the Police's criminal record register before appointing the position.
