About the position

We are looking for you who want to work as a support assistant or assistant nurse within one of our LSS (Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments) operations in Rimbo, either in day activities or in LSS housing. Your focus will be to guide and strengthen each individual's ability to live as independently as possible through a pedagogical and individualized approach.

At the unit, you work with users who have developmental disabilities and/or autism. Working hours vary between day, morning, evening, weekend, and night, depending on whether the position is placed within day activities or housing. We are looking for summer workers for the period June–August, as well as hourly temporary staff both before and after the summer period. The employment level is full-time or part-time according to agreement.

We interview and recruit continuously during the advertising period. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.

Your duties include among other things:

In your role, you will support the user based on their implementation plan, individual needs, and wishes. This may also include nursing care and supporting the individual in social contexts, providing pedagogical guidance, performing documentation, and delegated care measures. The role also involves contact with the user's network and specific tasks related to the operation you are assigned to.

For this position, you need:

• Good knowledge of the Swedish language in both speech and writing.
• You must be at least 18 years old.
• An extract from the criminal record.
• Good digital competence, i.e., technical knowledge and skills required to handle various computer programs such as medical record systems, communication systems, and the Office package.

It is meritorious if you also have:

• Upper secondary education from the healthcare and care program, child and youth program, or other equivalent education that the employer considers relevant.
• Experience working within LSS.
• Driver's license for manual car and driving experience.
• Specialized competencies for the specific operation.
• Knowledge of different functional variations, e.g., autism/ND/ID.
• Good knowledge of low-affective approach/attitude.
• Knowledge of AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication).
• Experience working with people who have challenging behaviors.
