Do you want to help shape tomorrow's citizens? We are now looking for an engaged and inspiring upper secondary school teacher in English and Swedish for Solbergagymnasiet in Arvika.

We are looking for an upper secondary school teacher who is passionate about their mission. You have clear pedagogical leadership, build good relationships, and create an inclusive learning environment where students are given the opportunity to reach their full potential. Solbergagymnasiet is a school with approximately 330 students distributed across four university-preparatory programs: the Natural Science Program, the Technology Program, the Social Science Program, and the Economics Program. For the academic year 2024–2025, we also launched the Adapted Upper Secondary School, individual program.

Qualifications

To succeed in the role of upper secondary school teacher, we see that you have:

• Eligibility and are a certified upper secondary school teacher in English and Swedish.
• Good computer skills.

It is also meritorious if you previously have:

• Work experience as an upper secondary school teacher and experience with mentorship.

To thrive in the role, we see that as a person you think it is natural to build good relationships and that you enjoy working with and meeting young people in our school. You collaborate easily but can also work independently. Structure and foresight are natural to you, and you are a secure person who gladly shares your knowledge and experiences.

Responsibilities

Your responsibilities include:

• Teaching students in English and Swedish.
• Acting as a mentor.
• Being part of a work team and subject group where you work together to create the best possible conditions for our students.
