Description

We are looking for an enthusiastic and skilled mathematics teacher for Fryxellska School to teach at the lower secondary level. Fryxellska School is a 7–9 school with approximately 420 students. The operations are organized into four work teams and also include special needs education. Our teaching groups consist of approximately 20–25 students, which creates good conditions for quality in teaching and close relationships.

Job Responsibilities

In the role of teacher, you are responsible for planning, implementing, and following up on mathematics instruction. You work both independently and in close collaboration with colleagues in both work teams and subject teams. The position also includes mentorship and work with targeted support measures in mathematics.

In preparation for the upcoming school year, the school is making a clear investment in mathematics. We are developing our math workshop into a central resource in teaching, where students are given the opportunity to receive extra support – individually or in small groups – in a calm and structured environment. There is access to varied and hands-on materials to strengthen students' understanding. As a mathematics teacher, you will be an important part of this work and contribute to developing teaching and support measures together with colleagues.

Qualifications

• Licensed teacher with qualifications in mathematics for grades 7–9
• Good ability to use digital tools and teaching materials in teaching is advantageous
