At Norrstrandsskolan, we are now looking for a teacher of English, Swedish, and French for grades 7–9 who wants to play an important role in the students' development and have the opportunity to make a difference in their lives. The position is permanent at 50 %.

Approximately 800 students from grades 4 to 9 attend Norrstrandsskolan. The school is centrally located in Norrstrand, close to Sundsta Idrottshus. For the past 30 years, Norrstrandsskolan has offered a music profile. At our school, we place great emphasis on promoting and preventive work regarding student health. We work according to the hypothesis: if you feel good, you learn well, and then you feel even better. We want the adults and students at the school to have the prerequisites for creating trusting relationships. We are convinced that good relationships are the foundation for our students' success in school. We hold the attitude that all students do their best if they can. Responsibilities

As a teacher in grades 7–9, your main task is to develop students' knowledge and skills based on the curriculum and each student's individual needs and prerequisites. You plan the teaching by setting goals, choosing methods and materials, and preparing lessons. Together with the students, you evaluate the teaching to always strive to improve the teaching, student learning, and your professional development.

Qualifications

We are looking for you with a teaching license and eligibility in Swedish, English, and French for grades 7–9.

We are looking for someone who is independent and takes responsibility for planning, implementing, and following up on your work in a structured manner. You are goal- and result-oriented and actively work to develop students' knowledge and achieve set goals.

You have a good ability to create and develop relationships with both students, guardians, and colleagues, and contribute to a positive and inclusive work climate.

Furthermore, you have pedagogical insight and adapt your teaching based on students' different needs and prerequisites. You are clear in your communication and create structure and security in the classroom, which contributes to a good study environment and good prerequisites for learning.
