We are looking for a certified teacher with qualifications in some of the subjects mathematics, biology, physics, chemistry, and technology for lower secondary school (grades 7-9).

It may also be possible to combine one of the above subjects with teaching in English or German if you have the necessary qualifications.

The duties involve teaching at the lower secondary level, as well as being a class mentor together with 1-2 colleagues.

The position is approximately 80%. Other percentages can also be discussed.

Start date August 2026, or as agreed.

Important qualities include being creative, curious, and interested in testing new exciting ideas. Great emphasis is placed on personality, strong commitment, and experience.

We are interested in all teachers, both newly graduated and those with work experience.

About Estetiska Skolan

Estetiska Skolan celebrated its 20th anniversary recently! We are an independent school run by a non-profit association. We have both lower secondary and upper secondary levels with a total of approximately 200 students. The student is at the center of everything we do.

We are members of the National Association of Non-Profit Schools, an organization of schools that share one important thing: we are not profit-driven. Instead, we believe that education should be driven by the joy of seeing people develop. At our school, the funding that follows a student (school grant) goes entirely towards improving the school and teaching. Therefore, our school is run by a non-profit association.

We have been located centrally in Arvika since 2004.

On our lower secondary level, we have profiles in music, visual arts, dance, theater, and sports.
