Description

At Skattkärrsskolan, we are currently looking for two teachers for grades 4–6 who want to play a key role in students' development and have the opportunity to make a difference in their lives. One of the positions is a permanent employment starting in the autumn term of 2026, and the other is a fixed-term employment during the autumn term of 2026.

Skattkärrsskolan has nearly 500 students from preschool class to grade 6. We are located in the heart of the community but still have natural areas with pine forests and a gravel playground within the schoolyard. Job Responsibilities

As a teacher for grades 4–6, your main task is to develop students' knowledge and skills based on the curriculum and each student's individual needs and prerequisites. You plan teaching by setting goals, choosing methods and materials, and preparing lessons. Together with the students, you evaluate the teaching to constantly strive to improve instruction, student learning, and your own professional development.

Qualifications

We are looking for you with a teaching license for grades 4–6 in mathematics, Natural Sciences (NO), English, and Swedish. Additional qualifications in Social Studies (SO) subjects are meritorious.

As a person, you are self-reliant and take responsibility for planning, implementing, and following up on your work in a structured manner. You are proactive and actively contribute to developing teaching and operations. Furthermore, you are goal- and result-oriented with a focus on students' knowledge development and goal achievement.

You have a good ability to create and maintain safe and trusting relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues. Through your clear leadership, you create structure and a conducive learning environment in the classroom, communicating expectations and goals in a pedagogical and inclusive manner.
