Your Workplace

At the Child and Youth Habilitation Center, we work with children and young people who need habilitation services. We work together to contribute to a positive development for children and young people in the form of:

Your Responsibilities

As a special educator, you are responsible for habilitation interventions in close collaboration with other professional groups, based on the needs of individual children and families. Consultation and knowledge transfer, including regarding the consequences of disabilities in everyday life, to parents and staff, is an important part of the work.

Your Knowledge and Competencies

We are looking for you who have a degree in special education, preferably with experience of children and young people with disabilities. Experience within habilitation is an advantage.

To thrive here, we see that you have good collaboration skills, as the work involves cooperation both within and outside the operation. You are flexible, have pedagogical insight, and can adapt your message to the recipient's different prerequisites and ways of taking in information. At the same time, you feel secure in acting independently. You work with a goal orientation, focusing on results, and plan and prioritize your work in an effective way.

You have a positive attitude towards your work and act in accordance with decisions, goals, and guidelines, and are interested in development work and also have relevant clinical experience. Great importance is attached to personal suitability.
