Job Description
As a student assistant, your task is to support individual students, multiple students, or groups of students in their learning and development throughout the school day, and in some cases, also during leisure time.
It is of great importance that you work closely with the students and are active in your role, especially in connection with free play, outdoor activities, breaks, transfers, and during practical-aesthetic subjects.
The work places high demands on good communication skills in interaction with both children and adults.
Some students have extensive support needs, which presupposes that you have a professional approach and can handle challenging situations in a constructive manner.
Working hours are distributed over five working days per week.
Qualifications
You have relevant experience working with students who present challenges in grades F-6 (preschool to year 6) and after-school centers. You have experience working in teams and can contribute with creativity and a solution-oriented mindset. You are calm, self-initiating, and have broad work-life experience. We value traits such as responsibility, teamwork, and initiative.
