Description:

We are looking for a temporary teacher for grades 4–6 with a focus on Mathematics, Natural Sciences (NO), and Home Economics. Östra Skolan has a central location in Sunne, close to the library, several green areas, and outdoor recreation areas. Approximately 300 students attend the school, ranging from preschool class to grade 6, with an associated after-school center. The school also includes an adapted primary school.

Participation in team meetings for common dialogue, learning, development, and collaboration across grade levels is important.

You will belong to the Solbacka school area, which includes Lysviks School, Prästbol School, and Östra Skolan. The school's student health team consists of counselors, school nurses, special education teachers, special needs teachers, as well as the principal and two deputy principals.

Responsibilities:

Your responsibilities include leading and taking responsibility for pedagogical work based on the curriculum's goals. You will be part of a work team and responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating pedagogical work. Mentorship in grade 4 is included in the position, where you are expected to conduct meetings and development talks with guardians. Here you will find colleagues in a strong community who all take individual responsibility, participate in supervision, and targeted training.

Development work and systematic quality work are also part of your role, as is collaboration with external operations and authorities such as social services, child and adolescent psychiatry (BUP), and habilitation services.

Qualifications:

We are looking for you who are a certified teacher with valid qualifications in Mathematics and Natural Sciences for grades 4–6. You have a holistic view, interest, and commitment to the entire student's development. You are flexible, able to adapt, and capable of teaching at different levels using various methods. We are looking for someone who is calm and stable, has great patience, and the ability to adapt to the student's conditions and needs.

Conditions:

A valid extract from the police criminal record must be presented before employment can commence. Interviews will begin immediately so that an appointment can be made before the application deadline. The position will be filled if necessary decisions are made. The position is a fixed-term appointment for the school year 2026/2027, located at Östra Skolan.
