Nykroppa School is a small and charming school offering Preschool Class to Grade 6. The school also includes our pleasant after-school center. The school is located in the heart of Nykroppa, a small community approximately 10 km outside of Filipstad.

Job Responsibilities

Your main responsibility will be to oversee the after-school activities in the afternoons and serve as a resource during school days, Monday to Friday. As an after-school educator, this involves planning, implementing, and developing the after-school program based on our governing documents. Working hours for this position are 09:00 to 17:30 daily.

You are expected to actively contribute with a solution- and result-oriented approach, keeping the students' needs at the center. Together, we work to support and develop each other in our mission. You will collaborate with colleagues, guardians, the student health team, and school leadership.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who have a pedagogical degree with a focus on after-school care or equivalent education. We assume you are well-versed in the school's value base and can translate the curriculum into a high-quality operation. You should be a clear and positive leader for the children, with the ability to create a good and accessible learning environment. You must have good initiative-taking skills and a strong sense of responsibility.

We place great emphasis on personal suitability, flexibility, curiosity, a positive attitude, and the ability to contribute to a good work climate. We assume you have good collaboration skills as well as the willingness and ability to participate in the systematic quality work of the after-school center and the school.

Conditions
