Temporary Leisure Centre Leader 100%

One of our leisure centre leaders will be on parental leave. Therefore, we are looking for you who are trained as a leisure centre leader or have other pedagogical education that we consider equivalent.

As a leisure centre leader, you will be part of a larger work team. Seven staff members work within the pedagogical activities in the pastorate. The Arvika Pastorate consists of five parishes and covers Arvika Municipality. Here, there is a varied parish life with many engaged volunteers and employed staff members.

As a leisure centre leader, you are employed by the Arvika Pastorate and will belong to the Unit for Teaching and Diaconia, with your main placement in the Arvika-Ny Parish. Collaboration between our five parishes is important, as is collaboration with other organizations working with children and young people.

We want you to have experience working with children and young people of varying ages. Experience working in the Church of Sweden is meritorious, as is religious pedagogical education. In the Church of Sweden, we offer varied activities for children and young people. Therefore, we are looking for you who have a strong commitment to meeting children and young people. You are self-motivated and proactive, and not afraid to "jump in" where needed. You are also positive, receptive, flexible, responsible, and meticulous. You should not be unfamiliar with leading devotions, as devotions and church services are important parts of our activities.

• We assume that you are a member and share the Church of Sweden's values.
• We require that you have a driver's license and access to a car.
• The position includes some weekend and evening duties.
• At the time of appointment, great importance is placed on personal suitability.
• Start date for the position is by agreement.
• The temporary position extends at most until June 30, 2027.
