Job Responsibilities

In the role of Student Assistant, your duties include:

• Providing individual support to students during lessons.
• Helping to create structure, clarity, and predictability in the student's daily life.
• Supporting the student's social development and interaction with others.
• Participating in planning and follow-up together with teachers and student health services.
• Adapting materials and working methods based on the student's needs.
• Being a secure support during breaks and in various school environments.

Qualifications

• Education in pedagogy, child and youth activities, or other education/work experience that the employer deems relevant.
• Previous pedagogical experience working with children or young people, preferably in adapted primary schools or LSS (Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments).
• Knowledge of or experience working with students in need of special support, for example within NPD (Neuropsychiatric Disabilities), is highly meritorious.

We are looking for you who are a secure and stable person with high personal maturity and a good ability to build trusting relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues. You work independently, take initiative, and have good judgment in situations requiring quick and well-considered decisions. At the same time, you have good collaboration skills and actively contribute to a positive work climate.

You have strong empathetic abilities and pedagogical insight, enabling you to meet each student based on their individual needs and prerequisites. In your work, you are flexible and can adapt to changed situations and different challenges that arise during the school day. You are structured in your approach, have the ability to see the whole picture regarding the student's development and learning, and contribute creative solutions to create a secure, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment.
